crewd. sends work-offer and job-dispatch text messages (shift availability, job details, and confirmations) to enrolled workers in crewd.'s labour pool who have given express consent, from a verified Canadian toll-free number (+1 (877) 883-2739). This page explains exactly what we send, how workers opt in and out, and what our consent screen looks like.

How workers opt in

1. Open the opt-in form

Workers go to crewd.ai/optin themselves — from a job post, a link we share, or after talking to us. The form is public; consent is never assumed and is not a condition of enrollment or employment.

2. Enter your number and agree

The worker types their own mobile number, reads the program disclosure beside it in English or French, checks the consent box, and submits. We record the date, time, IP address, and consent-language version as proof.

3. Confirmation text

The worker receives a confirmation SMS. Only then do we send work offers — this confirmed opt-in is required before any dispatch message goes out.
