Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the crewd. dispatch console and the crewd. text-message program operated by crewd. (“crewd.”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By using our service or by opting in to receive our text messages, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

crewd. provides a staffing and dispatch service in the Ottawa–Gatineau, Canada region. We receive job requests, offer available shifts to workers enrolled in our labour pool by text message, and coordinate the resulting crews. The operator dashboard is a private tool for authorized crewd. staff and is protected by a login.

Being enrolled in our labour pool does not guarantee any amount of work. Rates and availability come from our own records and are set by us — they are never invented, and no automated system selects the final crew; a person always makes that decision.

By opting in, you agree to receive work-offer and job-dispatch text messages (shift availability, job details, and confirmations) from crewd. at the mobile number you provided, sent from a verified Canadian toll-free number. These SMS terms form part of these Terms.

• Program. crewd. sends work-offer and job-dispatch text messages to enrolled workers who have given express consent.
• Message frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on available work; it is not a fixed number per week.
• Cost. Message and data rates may apply. crewd. does not charge for the messages themselves.
• Opt out. Reply STOP (or ARRÊT) to any message to unsubscribe at any time. This stops messages at the carrier level and revokes your consent in our system. Rejoining requires a fresh opt-in link.
• Help. Reply HELP (or AIDE) for help, or contact us at +1 (877) 883-2739 or business@crewd.ai.
• Consent is voluntary. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of enrollment or employment.

When you use our service, you agree not to:

• Provide false, misleading, or someone else’s information.
• Opt in a mobile number you are not authorized to use, or use the service unlawfully.
• Attempt to access the operator dashboard if you are not authorized, or to disrupt or probe our systems.

We rely on third-party providers — including a messaging and voice provider, a mapping provider, and an AI language-model provider — to deliver the service. Their availability and performance are outside our control, and their handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any message or call will be delivered.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, crewd. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from delayed or undelivered messages, third-party services, or your use of or inability to use the service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and, where applicable, the Province of Québec, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we revise the “last updated” date above. Your continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
